Slocum's aye was left off of Motion to Pay Bills, Judge Connor's position as a salary position with insurance included in gross wage, which in turn he will pay the supervisor for his portion of insurance each month, Motion to accept Donald Potter in place of Scott Snyder's position as assessor and also the motion to adjourn. There was a motion to let salaried and elected Town People be eligible for Health Insurance after the Town of Genoa does not employ them.

Building and Grounds

The New Town Hall is in place and looking good. There were a few days delay on it's getting here but it has arrived and all is well. We hope to have the next meeting December 26, 2001 there. Ellen Marshall will do landscaping (with Ron's help) and possibly the Garden Club's. Next will be selection of carpet and color of interior. Electric Meter on outside will be covered up with either paint or a shrub to make that area of the building look better. Mabel Travis would like to see a light in front of the building. The Town Board authorized Kenneth Manzari to contact NYSEG to put light on pole at New Town Hall site. John Mann and someone else will decide on sigh for front of building.

The Town Boards commitment to Genoa Historical Association will remain the same as in the past. We need a description of material that will stay at GHA Building and what will go to the New Town Hall. There will be a Sub-Committee made up of Grayson Mitchell, Laurie Fessenden, Gordon Cummings and Phil Donovan to make this decision. Copy of Agreement enclosed with minutes in book.

PROGRAMS AND GRANTS

Laurie finished 2001 reports and 2002 application.

Code Enforcement.

Wayne Smith gave a complete accounting of his activities for the town for the month of November 2001.

Highway Report

We have the transmission from the one drot swapped over to ours. So we're back to old faithful. Used wrist-o-twist and bucket hookup also. We have the plows and wings on everything. DOT Safety flagged the railing on 1st bridge South of Mayo Road. We're working on a plan to fix it. Did a little work on the old D-6 dozer, and had the county haul it over to the New Town Office site. We are backfilling in around office with stone and hauling sub soil to bring up the parking lot. OSHA (state man Pesh) spent about 6-7 hours at the highway department. He wrote us up for a few things and made some suggestions. Some we have taken care of already. He condemned our old grinder. Had to deal with a little slippery snow.

Water Report

David Reeves reported average of 68,000 gallons each day used last month. 21" line to King Ferry Fire House popped off in front of the Pizzeria. It is all fixed now. Took hydrants apart and serviced them. Put in new hydrant flags. Telemetry specifications are ready to go out for bid. The guy that did the specs last year did not include radios. The board will receive copies of these specs for last meeting on the 26th of December 2001. OSHA says we need meter and blower for confined space area in well pits. As long as we can document that there is not a problem we do not need this meter and blower. OSHA will let us know.
