REGULAR MEETING, GENOA TOWN BOARD
DECEMBER 10, 2003

A Regular meeting of the Genoa Town Board was held on December 10, 2003 at the Genoa Town Hall 1000 Bartnick Road, Genoa, New York 13071.

The Meeting was called to order at 7:30 P.M.

November averaged 87,000 gallons per day and December averaged 60,000 gallons per day.

CODE ENFORCEMENT:

Permits issued: King Ferry Hotel, Willett Dairy and Robert Mclaughlin

Inspections Conducted:

Greco, Detzer, Rejman, Miller, Eicker, Noble, Miller, Grant, Detzer, Rejman, Reeves, Boles, and Reeves.

Communications:

Letter to Santos Raymundo in regards to neighbor’s complaint of rodents coming from the property and oil being spilled and/or dumped on property. Letter also sent to NYS DEC on oil complaint. Mr. Raymundo stopped in the office on 12-01-2003 to advise me that he does not have a rodent problem but more of a neighbor problem.

HIGHWAY REPORT:

Removing snow and fixing trucks. David Powers found a New IH 7600 10 Wheeler with Cat Diesel engine price is $123,799.00. Five year warranty on engine. Has one lane plow with wing. Truck does not include sander. Seneca Supply has sander for the price of $4,743.50.

Motion to purchase Williams Law Book Bookkeeper Program with Payroll and retain Fran Mitchell to work with Dudley Hand for 2 Months for the transition. The Town Board encumbered $1,083.00 to p[ay Fran Mitchell.

OLD BUSINESS:

Butch ordered the flag pole for the Town Hall. It will cost $743.75.

NEW BUSINESS:

Joe Redder brought his concern to the Town Board about Stevens Street being wet all the time and other side streets are dry. David Powers told him that NYS DOT was responsible for repairs to the road drain and that the town has been doing it for years because the State doesn’t.

The Town Board also encumbered $200.00 material and $500.00 labor for Curt Jones to finish the painting At the Town Hall.
