Genoa Town Court is currently
closed through 5/30/20.

All appearances and payments are adjourned. Please watch your mail in early June for new appearance dates. To be notified by email, you may contact the Genoa Court Clerk at: GenoaTownCourt@nycourts.gov.

Due to the Cayuga County State of Emergency regarding the coronavirus situation,

Effective Monday, March 16th, the offices of the Town of Genoa, 1000 Bartnick Road, will be closed to the public.

We will remain fully staffed and will conduct all business via phone, email, fax, & regular mail.

The Highway & Water Departments will continue with business as usual.

Bill Pay Options: by Mail with the Regular United States Postal Service by Check or Money Order or through your bank using the online banking system.

Drop Box: located on the outside post by the main entrance at the town hall, we will be checking the box often.

Property Tax Payments: Reminder—if you have not paid anything on your 2020 property taxes (the bills that were mailed to you January 1, 2020), full payment must be in to the Genoa Tax Collector by April 1, with the 2% penalty. After April 1, all unpaid taxes are turned over to the Cayuga County Treasurer’s office with additional penalties to be applied.

This message is not for those who made an installment payment in the installment time period, your second installment payment is not due until July 31, 2020. We do not accept the second installments.

Dog license renewals can be completed by mail. If you have received a renewal notice in the mail just follow the directions on the form and we will mail you the license.
